3]THE MUSIC SCHOOL OPENS only during school terms . Fees charged per term @ R900. The fees can be broken up into monthly payments of R300 per month.

4]THE MUSIC SCHOOL IS CLOSED ON ALL PUBLIC HOLIDAYS AND CLOSES when schools close.

5]Music is taught On set days and once you chose your day it is very difficult to change days. Saturday students note that your timeslots might vary.

6] PARENTS WHO CHOOSE TO TAKE A BREAK DURING ACADEMIC EXAMS DO SO ON THEIR OWN ACCORD AND WILL BE LIABLE TO PAY FULL AMOUNT ON LESSONS.

7} PARENTS ARE ONLY ALLOWED TO SIT IN LESSON UPON PRIOR ARRANGEMENT WITH THE PROJECT MANAGER, MR. ERASMUS.

8} Each lesson will last 30 (THIRTY) MINUTES and cost R300 PER MONTH OR R900 PER TERM. THE LAST LESSON OF EACH MONTH WILL BE A THEORY LESSON.

9}  Membership fee payment should be made in advance on the agreed date of payment each month. All payments to be done electronically debit or stop order. ACCOUNT DETAILS- FNB – business. CHEQUE ACCOUNT 62689557951. BRANCH CODE 250655. USE STUDENTS NAME AND SURNAME AS REFERENCE. Please arrange stop or debit order with your bank and bring proof of arrangement made.

10} ONE PARENT MEETING PER TERM MUST BE HELD IN ACCORDANCE TO SOUTH AFRICAN LAW AND ALL PARENTS ARE COMPELLED TO ATTEND THIS MEETING. IT IS COMPULSORY AS DECISIONS MADE IN MEETING WILL BE APPLICABLE TO ALL CLIENTS.

11} IN THE EVENT OF A TUTOR BEING SICK, ANOTHER TUTOR WILL BE AVAIBLE

12} AN AFFILLIATION FEE OF R150.00 IS PAYABLE IN ADDITION TO FIRST MONTHS PAYMENT AND ANNUALLY. THIS IS A ONCE off R150 to new students only. Should a student choose to return the following year no Affiliation fee is required, only a repeat form must be completed, and contract signed.

13} LATE PAYMENTS WILL NOT  FORFEIT YOUR MEMBERSHIP BUT A PENALTY OF 50 % WILL BE ADDED TO YOUR ACCOUNT AND IS PAYABLE BEFORE LESSONS RESUME.

14}THE MUSIC SCHOOL WILL HAVE ONE FUNDERAISER PER YEAR.

15]IT IS COMPULSORY TO PRACTICE AT HOME. SHOULD A STUDENT TURN UP UNPRACTICED THE PREVIOUS LESSON WILL BE REPEATED. IT IS THE PARENTS DUTY TO ENSURE THAT PRACTICE SESSIONS AT HOME HAPPENS TIMIOUSLY EVERY DAY. A SHARPENED PENCIL, AN ERASER, A RULER IS ALWAYS EXPECTED TO BE BROUGHT TO MUSIC LESSONS. ALL MUSIC BOOKS ARE TO BE PURCHASED EITHER AT THE MUSIC SCHOOL OR AT (LEE GOLD MUSIC IN WALMER). ALL BOOKS PURCHASED AT PANDORAS COST 65 RAND FOR A BLSCK AND WHITE COPY AND R100 Per COLOUR.

16] BLACK PRINTED T SHIRTS ARE AVAIBLE AND MAY BE WORN TO ALL LESSONS. THIS HELPS TO INSTIL DISCIPLINE.

17] PLEASE TEACH STUDENTS TO ADRES TUTORS PROPERLY. BY SURNAME.

18] ALL TUTORS AND WORKERS COMPLETE AN ANNUAL SECURITY CHECK TO ENSURE THEY ARE SAFE TO BE WORKING AROUND CHILDREN.

19] IT IS NOT COMPULSORY TO ENTER ALL EXAMS ACCORDING TO THE MUSIC SCHOOLS DISCRETION. EXAMS FEES ARE SETTLED BY THE STUDENT OR PARENT. EXAM BOOKS CAN BE BOUGHT AT LEE GOLD OR MUSIC LAND OR ONLINE FROM AMAZON.

20] The Student will provide his/her own instrument for practice purposes at home and this is compulsory. The Teacher shall provide an additional instrument for instructional purposes. The Student will buy the required sheet music and equipment at the Teacher’s recommendation.

21] EACH STUDENT MUST LOOK AFTER THEIR OWN MUSIC. NO TUTOR WILL BE HELD RESPONSIBLE SHOULD THEY LOOSE MUSIC, BE IT AT PANDORAS OR AT HOME.

22] PHOTOCOPIES WILL COST R1.50 PER PAGE (BNW) AND R2PP IN COLOUR.

23] The Music School will provide the opportunity for four (4) recitals, which will fall roughly at {the beginning of each season}. The Student will perform {solo/alongside other students}. Only four members per family at a recital. Please book in advance should more family members need to attend.

24]The Student /PARENT is responsible for his/her own attendance. If the Student cannot attend a lesson, he/she must notify the Teacher at least 24 hours in advance. If there is a medical emergency, a written note from a doctor can be substituted for advance notice, and the student will then be viable for a makeup lesson. MAKE UP LESSONS WILL ONLY BE POSSIBLE DURING SCHOOL HOLIDAY TIMES. Otherwise, the Student will still be charged the full amount for the missed lesson.

24] DO YOU GIVE THE MUSIC SCHOOL PERMISSION TO USE YOUR CHILDS PHOTO FOR MEDIA PURPOSES e.g. NEWPAPER ARTICLES, NATIONAL TELEVISION AND RADIO INTERVIEWS, ADVERTISEMENTS AND POSTERS AT MUSIC SCHOOL? YES/NO

25] YOU ARE URGED TO PLEASE HONOUR THIS CONTRACT AND SETTLE YOUR MONTHLY ACCOUNT UNTILL THE END OF THE YEAR SIGNED FOR.

NB: IN THE EVENT OF DISCONTINUING LESSONS 30 DAYS NOTICE SHOULD BE GIVEN OR IN THE CASE OF THE TUTOR ADVISING THAT THE STUDENT SHOULD STOP, NO NOTICE IS REQUIRED
